• ACCEPTANCE • 


Welcome to your DAILY meditation. 
And welcome to our theme for meditation practice over this month which is:  
(Drumroll... 🥁)
ACCEPTANCE. 

Personally -- I'm really looking forward to working with Acceptance as our theme. In part, because you all asked for this topic on the survey I sent out last month (thank you, friends). 
And in part because acceptance is baked in to the practice of meditation, itself. We open the proverbial doors. Stay watchful of what arises. And rather than trying to tinker with our experience, we're working to accept what is.
We're meeting our present moment reality, as they say. 

Throughout this month, we'll be traveling down some of the more heart-centered alleyways together, which I know for may of us is a treat. Think: 
Acceptance as a precursor for change.
Self-acceptance and compassion.
Acceptance and it's counterpart - boundaries.  
Which are sometimes necessary for acceptance to take place.
Strong spine, open heart. One supports the other. 

In today's practice, I kick us off with a emotional temperature check, where we drop into the body and simply notice what's there. No need to tinker, or figure it out. In this case, acceptance takes the form of allowing, and receiving what comes through.
