PRACTICE #12

This meditation originally aired June 29, 2020

• ACCEPTANCE •

Well friend, here we are closing down this month of meditation together, and with it, the theme that has anchored our practice — Acceptance.  Holy smokes. How time does pass.

Throughout this month we've explored Acceptance from a number of different angles. We've looked at self-acceptance and what it means to let ourselves off the hook... acceptance as an act of compassion.

We've engaged with acceptance as a pre-cursor for skillful action and sustainable change. And we've kept it really spacious at times to acclimate ourselves to accepting whatever might be arising.
In today's practice, we don't stray too far from the ground we've been covering this month -- and in fact, we even tread a (likely) familiar path, as we circle back to my very favorite, very trusty definition of what mindfulness actually is -- and why it's an ongoing practice.

Practice begins at the 5 minute mark. Just find a comfortable seat, and perhaps a pen + paper to capture your own insights after meditation, and then click the video above.
May you stay open. Aware. Accepting.
